Personal Notes:

He had studied Law, but could not practise because of the Nazis. He emigrated to France, was forced to join the Foreign Legion during World War 2 and was stationed in North Africa, but actually lived in a prison camp for Jews where conditions were very harsh. After the war he returned to Paris, received French citizenship and worked as a businessman. He died of heart failure.
